"For those that will fight
for it....Freedom...has a flavor the protected shall never know."
Greetings:
There are many desires a returning veteran has when returning home from combat. The desire to live, lead and learn are common among those veterans who call themselves students at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). Upon taking classes at UNR, we found the ability to communicate with other veterans was invaluable. With this in mind we founded Wolf Pack Veterans (WPV) in 2006 and established a goal to:
“Provide
a supportive environment for returning veterans in order to facilitate their
education and transition from military service”
Through mutual friendships and camaraderie only formed from military service, we are able to assist with difficult classes, financial needs and most importantly, the ability to communicate with other veterans. As individuals, we strive to excel in our education and go on to further provide for society. As a close-knit organization, our goals for the 2008-09 school year is to:
If you feel that you would be able to assist our student veterans or help us achieve our goals for 2008-09, please feel free to call me at (775) 240-0599. I look forward to explaining the passion Wolf Pack Veterans have to excel at school, in their respective careers, and our desire to help other veterans.
Sincerely,
Stuart Greenfield
